Edy Almer

VP - Product Management, Safend

Edy Almer managed the Encryption and Endpoint DLP products in the Endpoint Security Group at Symantec (SYMC). Mr Almer managed the memory cards product line at M-Systems, prior to its acquisition by Sandisk (SNDK). Mr. Almer previously drove the launch of several flagship projects at Orange (PTNR), Israel's fastest growing cellular operator, resulting in 100,000 new 3G customers one year after launch. As the CTO of Partner Future Comm, Mr. Almer charted the product and company strategy for potential venture capital recipient companies. Mr. Almer holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Technion, and his MBA from Tel Aviv University.

Mark P. Williamson

Chief Technology Officer and co-founder of Conquest Security

Mark Williamson is the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and co-founder of Conquest Security, an information security consulting firm that focuses on the federal market.

With more than twenty years of experience working for the federal government and leading information security solution providers, Mark applies a wealth of both business and technical expertise to identifying solutions that address the challenges facing federal information security professionals and to assisting the innovators in bringing their solutions to the organizations that will benefit from their efforts.

Prior to joining Conquest, Mark has held a wide range of senior management, sales, and technical positions at leading information security companies, including Tripwire, nCipher, and ISS. Mark is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). He graduated cum laude in 1987 from The State University of New York and then worked in the Information Technology Laboratory at the National Institute of Standards and Technology for nine years.

Steve Trebbe

Director, Government Sales at Safend

Steve Trebbe has over 12 year in the IT Data Security market and has worked with both DoD and Civilian agencies during this time. Steve has many years of experience working with cryptography and data protection and has been quoted in numerous security related articles and publications. He has been with Safend since 2005 and prior to Safend, was Director of Federal Sales at F-Secure and held security related roles at National Semiconductor.
