Ian Mitchell

Founder and Board Chair The Knoble

Mitchell is the Founder of The Knoble, a non-profit with the mission to unite the financial crimes industry to protect vulnerable populations and fight Human Crime (trafficking, scams, child exploitation and elder abuse). Ian is also the Co-founder of Omega FinCrime, a mission driven fraud and scams consulting and services company that helps financial services enhance anti-fraud programs, defenses and controls. Ian has been fighting fraud and financial crime for almost 25 years in over 14 countries. Ian’s breadth of fraud experience covers consumer and commercial banking products and channels, merchant fraud, and insurance products. Ian has held fraud management leadership positions at 5/3, Ally, USAA, and GE. Most recently Ian served as a Principal (Partner) leading PwC’s Financial Crimes Unit (FCU) Fraud Management Practice. Ian regularly shares his passion for living a life of purpose through his speaking and advocating on enhancing the fight against Human Crime and fraud, and also music that he writes and publishes.
