Among the major data breaches reported during the week of July 28 was an incident at Irish online gambling site Paddy Power that impacted 650,000 customers.

The gambling site breach, which took place in 2010, was discovered in recent weeks. "No financial information or customer passwords were compromised in the isolated incident, and customers' accounts are not at risk as a result," the company says. Stolen account information included customer names, usernames, addresses, e-mail addresses, phone numbers, dates of birth as well as question-and-answer security questions. Any customers who registered an account after 2010 were not affected.
