Stifel, executive director for the Americas at the Global Cyber Alliance, previously served as cybersecurity policy director at Public Knowledge. Stifel is a senior fellow in the Atlantic Council's Cyber Statecraft Initiative and a visiting fellow at George Mason University's National Security Institute. She previously served as a director for international cyber policy at the National Security Council and, before that, in the U.S. Department of Justice as director for cyber policy in the National Security Division and as counsel in the Criminal Division’s Computer Crime and Intellectual Property Section.
