Cybereason's Sam Curry shares insight from the new study "Organizations at Risk: Ransomware Attackers Don’t Take Holidays."

In this video interview with Information Security Media Group, Curry discusses:

  • How the 2022 study differs from last year's study;
  • Why weekend/holiday attacks are more costly;
  • Recommendations to security leaders to bolster off-hours defenses.

Curry, who leads cybersecurity at Cybereason, previously served as chief technology and security officer at Arbor Networks. Prior to that role, he spent more than seven years at RSA - the security division of EMC - in a variety of senior management positions, including chief strategy officer and chief technologist and senior vice president of product management and product marketing. Curry also has held senior roles at Microstrategy, Computer Associates and McAfee.
