MIS Training Institute Announces Oliver North as Keynote Speaker for InfoSec World 2008 Conference Adds Three Companion Summits and Nearly 100 How-To Sessions to Address all Aspects of Security

FRAMINGHAM, Mass.—December 12, 2007—MIS Training Institute today announced InfoSec World Conference & Expo 2008 featuring Oliver North as this year’s keynote speaker. Conference organizers are also introducing a new conference line up for the leading IT security event taking place March 10-12, 2008 in Orlando, Florida.

Oliver North, combat-decorated marine, best-selling author, and former U.S. counter-terrorism coordinator will keynote the main conference with a speech on America in the New Millennium. North will draw on his 20 years of experience as a United States Marine and his tenure as a staff member of the National Security Council during the Reagan administration to identify the policies that have made America the world’s only remaining superpower.

This year’s conference features 11 tracks, 15 workshops and 3 summits—The CISO Executive Summit, The Summit on Preventing Data Leakage and The Log Management Summit. Sessions will cover Standards & Laws, Management & Strategy, Security 101, Identity Management, Network & Perimeter Security, End-Point Security, Enterprise Security, Application Security, Incident Response, Advanced Security, IT Audit.
