ISMG Announces Sponsorship of RSA EuropeISMG Announces Sponsorship of RSA Europe Information Security Media Group, publisher of BankInfoSecurity.com, GovInfoSecurity.com and other media properties, announces its sponsorship of RSA Conference Europe 2010.
The event will be held Oct. 12-14 at the Hilton London Metropole in the UK, built around the theme "Security Decoded."
For ISMG, this is the first time sponsoring RSA Conference Europe, but is the latest evolution of a growing partnership with RSA. ISMG has sponsored, spoken at and covered the flagship RSA Conference in the U.S. for several years now, culminating in a Platinum Media Sponsorship of the 2010 event this past March. At this year's RSA Conference in the U.S., editorial director Tom Field spoke twice on the State of Banking Information Security, and the ISMG team prepared a comprehensive multimedia report of the event, including articles, blogs, podcast recordings and video interviews.
"It's great to grow this partnership globally with RSA Conference," says Mike D'Agostino, VP of Marketing with ISMG. "Although our main media sites - BankInfoSecurity.com, GovInfoSecurity.com and HealthcareInfoSecurity.com - are primarily focused on the U.S., a growing percentage of our viewers are from outside the country. This tells is that the topics we focus on - information security, risk management and regulatory compliance - are universal and highly relevant to the RSA Europe attendees."
As part of the sponsorship of RSA Europe 2010, ISMG will be granted exclusive access to some of the security industry's key professionals and thought-leaders. Having been Premier Media Sponsor of the U.S.'s RSA 2010 Conference, ISMG will have a unique perspective on the commonalities and differences between the two regional events.
