BankInfoSecurity.com and CUInfoSecurity.com Announce Annual Corporate Membership

Information Security Media Group (ISMG) announces the availability of an annual Corporate Membership option on both BankInfoSecurity.com and CUInfoSecurity.com websites. The membership option is open to all registered users.

ISMG offers targeted information security training and education specifically for the banking and finance industry, with much of this training and education offered in the form of webinars and online workshops. With the new annual Corporate Membership option, users will now be able to sign up for as many webinars as they wish throughout the year, eliminating the need to re-register for each individual webinar they wish to attend.

“Convenience was definitely a driving factor for introducing the annual Corporate Membership option. We have many users who attend multiple webinars throughout the year and the membership option will allow those users to register once, and then have open access to entire webinar library for one year. Cost is also a factor. If you attend more than a couple webinars throughout the year, the membership pays for itself,” ISMG’s Marketing Manager Mike D’Agostino had to say.

In addition to the ability to attend unlimited webinars and a reduced cost per webinar, the annual Corporate Membership can also be utilized to keep track of CPE certificates, and view/print a transcript at any time.

D’Agostino added, “Because of the educational value of our webinars, many of our users get the added benefit of using these classes towards continuing education credits. Once someone signs up for the annual Corporate Membership, they have access to a transcript interface where they can view all webinars attended, how many CPE credit hours the classes are good for, and an option to print Certificates of Completion if needed.”

One of the main benefits of the new annual Corporate Membership is the reduced cost compared to other forms of employee training and education. When factoring in the costs of sending one employee to an in-person training session, and costs such as travel, lodging, food, registration, and expenses are included, the new annual Corporate Membership option becomes much more cost-effective. When you consider the cost benefit for multiple employees the benefits of the annual Corporate Membership become even more apparent.

Webinars and online workshops that are included in the annual Corporate Membership cover a range of topics from compliance (such as GLBA, Sarbanes-Oxley, and PCI) to IT Risk Assessments, Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery, and Vendor Management among others.
