Making Dark Web Intelligence Actionable

"What's really becoming far more important is leveraging the intelligence coming from that research and using it in an automated and effective way to harden corporate networks," Rembaum says. "That's where we're seeing the greatest push today. Intelligence is always relevant; whether or not it is true, it implies something. What makes it far more valuable is when that intelligence because actionable."
In a video interview at Information Security Media Group's recent Fraud and Breach Prevention Summit in New York, where Rembaum made the presentation Shedding Light on the Dark Web, he addresses:
- How enterprises can explore the Dark Web;
- What organizations should look for in the Dark Web to safeguard their enterprises; and
- The impact of a recent takedown of a major dark marketplace.
Rembaum, vice president of security solutions at Check Point, joined the company in 2006. He manages its technical relationships with its largest customers.
