Soltra Edge is designed to facilitate the collection of cyberthreat intelligence from various sources, convert it into an industry standard language and provide timely information that can help organizations take timely protective action.

Soltra Edge is available at no cost for the basic license. It leverages open standards, including Structured Threat Information eXpression (STIX), a uniform format for the threat information, and Trusted Automated eXchange of Indicator Information (TAXII), an open standards protocol for routing that threat information.

Tripwire, Palo Alto Fight APTs

Tripwire has announced a technology integration with Palo Alto Networks that provides mutual customers with detection and protection against zero-day exploits and advanced persistent threats.

Tripwire Enterprise, a real-time endpoint threat protection solution that captures system and file change data on enterprise servers and endpoint platforms, is now integrated with Palo Alto Networks' WildFire, which detects unknown threats through dynamic analysis in a cloud-based environment. Working together, the two offerings reduce the time to detect, prioritize and respond to advanced threats from the network edge to endpoint systems before they compromise organizations, the companies say.

Datablink Completes Merger With BRToken

Datablink announces the launch of operations following its merger with Brazil-based BRToken, a user authentication and transaction signing company. The merged companies now operate as Datablink.

Datablink now offers mobile solutions and patented technology from BRToken that allows devices to read on-screen blinking patterns as a form of verifying transaction data. Datablink's physical devices create a secure channel with the backend of an organization. The user presses the lower button to enter the reading mode, points the sensor in the direction of a blinking image on the computer, and confirms that the displayed transaction values are correct. An electronic signature is then created.
