"It's important to cut through ... the kind of general sense of doom that we hear about how the robots are going to take over the world or about how cryptocurrency is going to replace all governments," Geater says.
In a video interview at the recent Infosecurity Europe conference in London, Geater discusses:

Geater is CTO of Thales e-Security, where he is responsible for product security and technology strategy, designing technical and cryptographic solutions. Over his career, he has had experience securing a wide variety of information systems, including embedded components of smartphones, international rail systems, smart energy networks, cloud computing platforms and worldwide payments infrastructure. He has held technology leadership roles at firms such as Trustonic, ARM and nCipher.
