Crowdstrike's Dan Larson on Evolving Threats and DefensesAbout half of today's cyberattacks are malware-free and don't involve having to write any files to disk, says Dan Larson of Crowdstrike. In a video interview at the recent Infosecurity Europe conference in London, Larson discusses:
- The threat of fileless, in-memory attacks;
- The rise of e-crime, including ransomware as a service;
- New ways to defend against next-generation attacks.
Larson is vice president of product marketing at the security firm Crowdstrike. He previously held leadership positions at Intel Security, McAfee and Safeboot Corp., among other firms.
