Jones is the author of the "Factor Analysis of information Risk" model, which facilitates quantitative risk measurement, to help organizations not only identify the risks they face but prioritize the ones to improve first.
In a video interview with Information Security Media Group at RSA 2020, Jones also discusses:

Jones is chairman of the FAIR Institute and co-founder and chief risk scientist at RiskLens. He previously served as the CISO of three organizations: Nationwide Insurance, Huntington Bank and CBC Invoice. Prior to that, his career included assignments in the military, government intelligence, consulting, as well as the financial and insurance industries. Jones recently published the book “Measuring and Managing Information Risk: A FAIR Approach.”
