But despite the crowded market, the fundamental challenges of usability and complexity in GRC systems persist. "Problems are still the same that they were even five years ago," Bojoukha said. It continues to be challenging for end users to navigate, often necessitating detailed explanations and guided assistance.
"The need for GRC is very apparent, with businesses trying to expand to different regions and territories," he said. "And with new regulations and frameworks coming out all the time, security and compliance people are hard to find. And businesses are looking for ways to automate a lot of their processes … But it's still a very complex piece of software to run."
