Erin Meyers, Senior Manager, Product Marketing, Bitdefender

Cyber insurance: It's both more necessary than ever and harder to acquire. Erin Meyers of Bitdefender talks about the new marketplace and how deploying MDR and XDR can help enterprises be better prepared and more attractive to prospective cyber insurers.

In this video interview with Information Security Media Group, Meyers discusses:

  • Changes in the cyber insurance sector;
  • Questions to ask/answer before seeking insurance;
  • The role of MDR/XDR in making companies more attractive to insurers.

Meyers has been in the technology industry for nearly a decade, beginning in public and analyst relations before transitioning to product marketing. As a senior product marketing manager at Bitdefender, she focuses on managed detection and response and is responsible for developing messaging, positioning and go-to-market strategies that reflect the voice of the customer and convey the true value propositions of managed cybersecurity services. Before joining Bitdefender, she was a product marketer at Expel, focusing on MDR, threat hunting and partner integrations.
