Litan said the "phone's been ringing off the hook" from companies looking for advice on the security and risks of AI adoption.

"Security-minded folks are very concerned - that are being pushed by the business to move ahead - so I'm witnessing a lot of tension in the organizations, and I am just trying to bring it down to earth," Litan said.

In this video interview with Information Security Media Group, Litan discussed:

  • Winners and losers of the OpenAI/Altman saga;
  • How the Gen AI marketplace is different today than it was pre-drama;
  • Gen AI use cases, hype and what to realistically expect in 2024.
