Beyond ensuring the right people get the right access to critical data, the business-driven approach also enables broader benefits, Garbis says.

In a video interview about IAM, Garbis discusses:

  • How emerging technology has changed IAM;
  • Elements of a business-driven approach;
  • Broader benefits that can result.

As Vice President of Marketing, Garbis is responsible for leading Aveksa's product and corporate marketing teams and activities. Prior to joining Aveksa, he led go-to-market activities for the Cloud Computing and Data Center Automation products for BMC Software, a $2 billion Business Service Management software company. Jason joined BMC Software via the acquisition of BladeLogic, where he was responsible for the go-to-market strategy for the company's award-winning Data Center Automation software solutions.
