Those combined challenges also put critical infrastructure sectors at risk overall, he said.

"We need more collaboration between the public and private sector to deal with this," he said. "In the private sector, I do wish we had more regulations and standards - more vertical regulations."

In this video interview with Information Security Media Group at RSA Conference 2023, Vardi also discusses:

  • Private sector vs. public sector cyber challenges;
  • Factors contributing to cybersecurity resource gaps;
  • Claroty's involvement in efforts to help bridge cyber gaps.

Vardi, who has more than two decades of global executive leadership experience, has developed and executed global business strategies and directed worldwide growth. As CEO of Claroty, he is leading the company through its next stage of growth to solidify its position as a leader in OT security. Vardi previously served as global managing director of Centrica Business Solutions, International. Prior to that, he was CEO of Panoramic Power, acquired by Centrica. Vardi was previously co-founder and managing director of Sparta Systems EMEA. He served in the Israeli Air Force for five years.
