Harmonic Security recently became a finalist in the RSA Innovation Sandbox, showcasing its innovative approach to AI and data protection. Paterson shared how Harmonic Security approaches data security, tailored to the generative AI era.

"Our approach is certainly security for AI, and we help you adopt generative AI by stopping sensitive material getting into places that it shouldn't," he said. "We can generalize that technology and use it to apply across all egress points and monitor for any sensitive data, leaving an enterprise much more effectively monitored than the prior generation of products that was finding tons of false positives."

In this video interview with Information Security Media Group at Infosecurity Europe 2024, Paterson also discussed:

  • The need for innovative approaches to data protection;
  • Increased automation and off-the-shelf AI solutions;
  • The evolving AI security market.

Paterson helps enterprises accelerate the adoption of AI without worrying about the security and privacy of their sensitive data.
