Sam Visner

VP & Cyber Lead Executive, CSC

Mr. Visner is CSC's VP and cybersecurity lead executive. He is responsible for the company's global cybersecurity strategy and operations, as well as the development and management of technologies, services and solutions. Previously, Mr. Visner served as Chief of Signals Intelligence programs at the NSA, and received the agency's Exceptional Civilian Service Award, the highest award to civilian employees. He served in management roles for commercial organizations, prior to which he was with the US Intelligence Community and served with the State Department.

He has held and holds various committee and association positions, including the Defense Science Board Intelligence Task Force, AFCEA Cyber and Intelligence Committees, and INSA Innovative Technologies Council. Mr. Visner is also an associate the National Intelligence Council, where he provides support on cybercrime and other issues. Mr. Visner served as the co-chair of a subcommittee of the Policy Operations Working Group serving the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Networks, Information, and Integration. Mr. Visner also served as a consultant to the President's Commission on the Capabilities of the U.S. Intelligence Community Regarding Weapons of Mass Destruction.
