May is a widely respected and highly sought after security professional, is an independent security consultant and trainer who specializes in protecting individuals and organizations from identity theft. He is the author of the award winning book "Johnny May's Guide to Preventing Identity Theft" and the featured expert in the video production "Identity Theft: How to Protect Your Credit, Your Money and Your Good Name". May is a graduate of the University of Detroit-Mercy, where he earned his B.S in Criminal Justice and his M.S in Security Administration. He is also credited with developing the nation's first college level courses on identity theft, which he teaches at Madonna University and Henry Ford Community College.
