Naiyer has more than 19 years of experience in cybersecurity, privacy, technology compliance and assurance. He currently serves as a cybersecurity leader in a financial and insurance services organization in Canada. He was formerly the CISO for ORION and vCSIO of the Ontario Cybersecurity Higher Education Consortium. He has also held C-suite roles in leading financial institutions in the Middle East and south Asia and was associated with Big 4 consulting firms. Naiyer organized the first EC Council CISO forum in Canada and led the charge to make Certified CISO the standard in Canada. He has delivered lectures at some of the leading universities in North America and south Asia on IT assurance, information security management and IT compliance and has conducted workshops in the same areas. He serves on the governing body of leading cybersecurity conferences in North America and on the advisory board for Certified Threat Intelligence Analyst by EC Council.
