As Malware Variants Get More Out of Control, How to Respond
Cylance's Anton Grashion Shares Endpoint Detection and Response EssentialsEveryone knows that malicious code is out of control. "It's just insanely easy to create malware these days, and to create multiple variants of the same malware," says Cylance's Anton Grashion. He says organizations need to find better ways to reduce their attack surface as part of any strategy that attempts to "keep up with the exponential rise in variants in malware."

In a video interview at the recent Infosecurity Europe conference in London, Grashion discusses:
- The state of malware;
- Anti-virus signatures and the rise of artificial intelligence;
- Incorporating more "silent" intelligence into endpoints.
Grashion is senior director of product marketing in Europe, the Middle East and Africa for Cylance. He previously served as head of marketing in EMEA for McAfee and head of market intelligence and analysis at Juniper Networks, among other roles.
