Cisco's Michelle Dennedy on Regulations and 'Just Say No to the Backdoor'

After years of being kept in the background, privacy has taken center stage in security discussions. Michelle Dennedy, chief privacy officer at Cisco, discusses the impact of new regulations and the issue of encryption backdoors.

She was a driving force behind these companies' privacy practices that safeguard customer and employee personal data. Dennedy is a frequent speaker and keynoter at industry events. She received the 2014 Stevie business award for woman of the year. She is a member of the advisory board at the Future of Privacy Forum. Dennedy received her J.D. from Fordham University School of Law.
